In the past, the material was rush grass, which was prone to decay and discoloration, so the reputation was not very good. That's why shogi board tatami mats are in short supply. I also learned that such a large size is in demand. It took a lot of time and trial and error to get to this point. Of course, it is handmade with carefully selected tatami and fabric.
