Second printing of this first “reset” UK hardcover edition of The House at Pooh Corner by A. A. Milne (Methuen & Company, 1966). With illustrations by E. H. Shepard. Originally published in 1928, this edition was reset and first published in 1965, with this copy being the second printing after this occurred. A vintage copy of this beloved children’s novel featuring Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and the rest of the crew. Jacket now protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces and wear around the edges - inclining chipping, creases and small tears. Boards slightly bowed away from text block at fore edge and with corners bumped, but are otherwise clean. Binding material is faintly visible in a few gutters though spine is fairly straight and binding is strong on the whole. Previous owner’s inscription on front endpaper and with some discoloration to top outer edge of text block, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
