Leather Gilet (Vest) Suede Free Size Vintage Junk

This country-style item is a vintage vest.
It's a free size, but fits like a men's M-L.
It's probably about 35 years old? I bought it at a jeans shop on a somewhat desolate backstreet, a good walk from Kawasaki Station in Kanagawa.
It feels like "leather" as is, and is stiff.
It's suede, so there's quite a bit of dirt.
There's also damage in various places, but it doesn't seem to be torn.
Please consider it as junk.

I'm a novice, so the measurements are approximate (see image).
I think there may be deterioration, damage from storage, and things I've overlooked.

Embarrassingly, I tried it on, even though it was a stretch.
I was over 25kg heavier than when I bought it! My stomach is, of course, overall, I'm fat.
It's tight and probably not helpful as a reference... a negative image?
My arms are also thick, so the length looks short.
