From Eglomise Designs, Shirley, Mass. - 1965 (as per the sticker attached to the felt covered base), and shown.
This beautifully crafted box measures 13 inches across, by 8 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep. Also shown is the interior with a mirror in the lid. More importantly, the image depicts Lehman Hall, a men's dormitory that stood for over 100 years. I was a resident there in 1965 and recently returned to the campus to find it torn down! Guess nothing stays the same.
So, if any of you former Capital Crusaders want a unique memento, here's your chance.
