ESOW was born in Tokyo in 1972. He started skateboarding at age 13, went to the United States at 17, encountered graffiti, and created his own unique style influenced by the spirit of Edo, which is also his roots. Based in Asakusa, he exhibits his work in Japan as well as in America, Europe, and Asia, and his mediums of expression are wide and flexible, including paper, walls, lumber, and three-dimensional works.
