4.5". Vintage Chocolate Pot Set Hand Painted Roses Two Tone Light Lusterware with 3 Chocolate Cups and 4 Saucers stamped Germany
Description
This antique German Chocolate pot set features hand decorated transfers of white and pink roses. The decoration is on a two tone pastel yellow and green light lusterware background. The set has decorative gold scroll like borders and gold trim. There are three demitasse size chocolate cups with matching saucers (1 extra). The painted roses look like those of early Prussia.
There is a crazing crack inside the pot's lid, a small chip on the back inside lip of the pot, one cup has a very small crack near the handle, and one saucer has a very small chip on the underside. Otherwise the set is in very good condition, free of additional chips, cracks, repairs and crazing for the age.
Measures 9 1/4" high w/lid & holds 36 ounces. Cups measure 3" high and holds 4 ounces. The saucers measurure 4.5". Circa 1900-1925.
