This is a stunning vintage purple German cut to clear crystal bell with beautiful ring tone.
The exterior of the bell is a gorgeous dark amethyst/purple and cut to a clear crystal with a stunning hand carved design named Traube. The mouth blown cupola features grapes, leaves, vines, arcs and diamond cut panels. The six-sided faceted handle, which widens toward the bottom, has been notched in an elaborate zipper cut. A small cut crystal ball dangles on a delicate chain and has a beautifully clear ring.
Nachtmann has been making the Traube line for over 75 years and remains their most popular line. This will be a fabulous piece to use as a hostess gift, or just to add to your collection.
