Midcentury modern Italian art pottery raymor boho poppies vase signed AI.
Wow this is so beautiful I've had it for quite a while because it's so pretty I can hardly part with it but it is now for sale and it is an extraordinary example of what is most likely Italian art pottery from the 1960s or early 1970s. It has a very unusual signature on the bottom and somebody maybe can explain it to me or tell me who it represents? There are condition issues there are no chips on the rim but on the bottom foot there are some chips but you can see in the third to last and second to last photos that it hardly shows when the vase is resting. The vase resonates when you ding it on the side near the top it doesn't sunk but there is some sort of crack showing from the rim about an inch down on the inside of the vase only I don't see it on the outside anywhere and I don't feel it either and I've looked very hard.
In spite of this condition it looks fantastic and it's an incredible work of art
