During that time, he continued to buy and sell coins, and after graduation, he worked at the prestigious coin dealer Spink & Son. He was involved in auction operations at the London and New York offices, and was in charge of producing coin auction catalogs. After that, he worked at the major American auction company Heritage Auctions as a senior coin appraiser specializing in British coins.
