This does test as Sterling silver (last photo shows test test. If this was not silver, then the acid would eat the metal) and also has Mother of Pearl and horn or bone Inlay Checkered Edge; I do not know if this is a silver overlay or full silver but it is very heavy. I am selling it as overlay priced. Vintage Towle Silversmiths Octagon Tray. A very unique piece, with an great Art Deco vibe! Would make a great bar tray!
