Showa Retro, Olympus Pen EE-S

This is an Olympus Pen, a half-frame camera that was all the rage. The fact that Olympus withdrew from the camera market was, I think, a shock to camera enthusiasts. This item appears to have been manufactured around the 1960s and is now a hard-to-find antique. The seller is a camera novice and has never operated a camera other than the iPhone's camera function, so I cannot comment on it. I haven't actually taken pictures with film loaded, but I think it functions properly (although there is no guarantee). I think the type that removes the back half to load the film is not very common, what do you think? This is a used item. Those seeking perfection should refrain from purchasing.
