Unique vintage sterling silver Mayan necklace with genuine rough emerald stones. Measuring 18 3/4” long, this Peruvian/ Mayan piece is fairly old. It has Mayan/Peruvian mask medallions with what I was “guaranteed” are genuine emerald dangles. I do not have a tester, so cannot confirm. But most emeralds come from South America. The medallions are linked together with flat oval connectors. I did put in a new sterling silver lobster clasp as the original one broke. It weighs 26.15 grams, which is a good amount of silver. Fabulous piece! R1
FYI-Sterling silver is the US 92.5% and this is 90%, which is slightly below, but still considered Sterling.
