Exquisite Antique Northwood Pedestal recieving dish. It is White Opalescent and Clear Glass with "Opal Open" Beaded Panel Pattern
It is 3.5" tall.
The open tray consists of Opal Open Ivy Beaded Panels, Opalescent Glass, and Victorian style. It is 6.25" in diameter. The base is 3.25" in diameter.
The pedestal has a lovely, clear glass ribbon-like design. There are no breaks, cracks, or chips in this piece.
You can feel the mold seams at the base of the piece - that is due to the manufacturing process and is not a flaw.
Opalescent glass was the precursor to carnival glass.
