The Shinkenchiku-ka Gijutsusha Shudan (New Architects and Engineers Group) is a movement organization of architectural professionals formed in 1970. Commonly known as "Shinken."

It was formed by the development of the "New Architects Group" formed mainly in Kansai in 1960 and the "(Provisional) Architects Group" born in Tokyo in 1963, along with the "New Architectural Engineers Group" formed in Kanto in 1969, and other architectural movement organizations from all over the country. It has branches in each prefecture, with 13 branches at the time of its establishment and 25 branches currently.

Overview
The head office is located in Tokyo. All officers are part-time, and the representative directors, standing directors, and directors are elected at the general meeting. As of 2022, the representative directors are Yasuyo Inui, Shinya Katakata, Eiji Tarumi, Akiko Nakajima, Masaya Fujimoto, Shoichi Honda, and Kosei Yamamoto (7 people). In the past, Yoshihiko Hiramatsu, Uzo Nishiyama, Hiroo Kamabayashi, Takeo Takei, Ichiro Ebihara, and Yoji Kurosaki served as representative directors. In addition to the representative directors, it is operated with a board of directors and a secretariat.
