Add a touch of retro glam to your barware. These set of 4 sherry (?) glasses / pedestal glasses with its silver fade or
silver ombre from that starts from the rim down to the middle just screams Mid Century Modern and Mad Men!
The maker of these glasses is possibly Vitreon Queens Lustreware Ltd known for its signature silver fade or silver ombre barware. Many sellers however are attributing this style to Dorothy Thorpe who also produced barware during the 50s and 60s. Thorpes glasses, however, have banded silver along the rim and do not the have silver fade. Another possible maker of this glasses is Luminarc, a French glassware and tableware company.
Regardless of who the maker is, these glasses will be fabulous for serving sherry or even dessert! Perfect for entertaining.
