Vintage Victorian Couple Figurine/Lamp Base, Made in Germany - NOT TESTED. Stated as not tested because I'm a chicken, the plug doesn't have the original cardboard backing covering the exposed wires on the plug in part, close to the prongs. This also doesn't come with a light bulb. What you seen in the pictures is what you get. This lamp does have a wired in cord/plug already and cord looks to be in pretty good shape with the exception of some paint splatter on it. Think the cord is original. It may need replace..... I don't know. BUT there does need to be a cover on the plug itself added to plug in to safely try out in my opinion! Lamp itself is in good shape for it's age. I did notice one tiny imperfection (on the back, women's dress close to lamp pole). Looks like a hairline crack at the seam but looks like an manufacture imperfection. Gold trim/design for the most part is still there, maybe a tad worn here & there (nothing too horribly, just blends in).
