This is a vintage sculpture figure made by Alva Studios in 1955. It is a replica of a statue in the Louvre Museum in Paris. It depicts an ancient Egyptian scribe by the name of Nebmerutef from 1370 B. C. ready to take dictation from Pharaoh. It is marked with the date and "Alva Studios" on the side of the sculpture. There is a label at the bottom of the base, but it is too worn to read. The sculpture is in wonderful condition for its age.
