About the Artist
This piece was designed and made by Teresa Eaton. Teresa was a well known designer and weaver in the 80's and 90's, participating in art shows and placing her work in galleries and shops throughout the country. Her work was known for its lovely hand-dyed colors, its meticulous detail, subtle embellishment and fine craftsmanship. After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 and successfully treated, she decided to no longer weave, instead working with handmade paper, paint, found objects, etc. creating collage, 3D Mixed Media on canvas and related work. After several years the cancer re-emerged and her life ended in 2007.
