MICRODISNEY was formed in 1980 by Sean O'Hagan (now of HIGH LLAMAS) and Cathal Coughlan (later of FATIMA MANSIONS).
This album is based on the compilation album "We Hate You South African Bastards!" released in 1984, which collected singles from the ROUGH TRADE era (1982-84). This reissue, released in 1996 by REV-OLA, added three tracks from the single "In The World" and was released as "Love Your Enemies" on CD. This is a further re-release, adding four more tracks from the PEEL SESSION recordings!
The refreshing melodies, mainly featuring guitars and keyboards from their early days, sparkle with acoustic pop that is reminiscent of DANNY WILSON and PREFAB SPROUT, allowing you to enjoy refreshing indie pop.
