SONY VAIO C Series VPCCA4AJ - i7/8GB [Bootable - Junk]

This is a late-model Sony VAIO, a Sandy Bridge model.
It features an i7-2640M processor, a 1600x900 display, and a BD-R drive. It's an orange, made-to-order model. It has 8GB of memory, and the storage has been upgraded with a spare 120GB Samsung SSD. The only included accessory is the AC adapter.

Currently, it boots up, but its condition is not ideal, so it's being sold as junk for parts. Here are some of the issues:

* SSD (120GB, Samsung) has been replaced. It's been fixed in place without a proper mount.
* The COA sticker is for Windows 7 Home Premium, but Windows 10 Home has been installed because there is no recovery media. Digital activation is complete.
* The battery (compatible) is installed, but it has a charging fault and doesn't progress from 0%. The charging light also blinks.
* Possibly related to the above issues, it cannot resume from sleep (possibly a device driver issue).
* Due to Sony's support ending, no software or dedicated drivers are installed.
* The exterior is heavily scratched.
* The BD drive has been confirmed to read only.
* The LCD is relatively clean. It's a 1600x900 glossy type.
