This is a bolt of fabric from a haori that has been unpicked.
On an off-white background, plum blossoms are depicted in four colors: red, blue, yellow, and green.
In the photos, the pattern appears sharp, but in reality, it has a slightly blurred, soft feel.
It has been sent for washing and stretching, so it's fresh and ready to use. The edges have been sewn together to form the shape of a bolt of fabric.
I checked the entire piece, and there was a small stain in one area. It's faint and not very noticeable.
Maximum fabric width = approximately 36cm (from selvedge to selvedge)
I think it can be used for making hanhaba obi (narrow obi), han-eri (collars), or obiage (sash scarves), as well as for small items.
It has a charming pattern, somewhat reminiscent of Scandinavian textiles.
