Vintage 1940s WWII Sisons Philippines Tiki Souvenir Carved Wooden Wedge Shoes

As shown. See all photos. Neat, unique, rare, retro hand-carved and hand-painted tiki souvenir wedge shoes. My maternal grandfather more than likely picked these up whilst stationed in the Philippines during World War II. I’m unsure their U.S. size, but they measure 9.25” toe to heel. I don’t think they’re very comfortable. Really narrow and no ankle support, no arch support. Purchase at your own risk. I say that half jokingly. I just think these are safer on a shelf. They’re quite cool IMHO. Sole is stamped Sisons Footwear {something} Laguna(?) Philippines. Also, in pencil: 4/26. These can’t have been meant to be worn by my maternal grandmother, as she was a size 4.5/5 and these measure much longer. Nice to look at. Interchange the ribbon as you wish. Aesthetic but uncomfortable clogs. They’re sturdy but dangerous. No returns please.
