Natural Opal stamped sterling silver necklace. Approximately 1 carat, the Opal is extremely fiery, the pictures don’t capture it well. The chain is very unique- it is bars of silver strung together, station silver balls , and an unusual clasp that is spun into each side. Very secure. Other than being very tarnished, this necklace is in perfect condition. Opals are notoriously very delicate and this necklace has been meticulously cared for. This was purchased by my mom at a flea market in the 1960’s . Could be much older? It looks extremely vintage.
