This lovely ring was handed down to me by my mother, and was gifted to her by a close friend. It is engraved with the name of the silver smith, Sam W. Graves, who is well-known in the Southwest for his Navajo-style jewelry. It is marked "sterling," but I wasn't able to get a good picture of that. The stone is a lovely deep color, size 6.5, so could be worn on your ring finger or pinky, depending on your size!
