This listing is for a vintage Santa Claus head wall plaque. This item is made of plaster and is considered to be in very good vintage condition. It shows browning on the underside where the plaster was separated by a layer of special soap from the mold. It was then hand-painted on the front, so each piece is one of a kind in many ways. This Claus is reminiscent of Victorian paintings or depictions of Father Christmas.
We believe that this item was created in the United States in the 1960s, but it may have also been produced in Japan during this same time period.
This item measures 2" thick/deep x 7" wide x 10.5" tall
