Designer Eric Javits says Squishee is a customer favorite because "the style was so simple, a soft lightweight shoulder tote that could be rolled, folded and packed for travel which also matched the Squishee hat. It was an easy solution for pulling together casual summer looks".
This new version is a style rooted in the brand's beginnings. Eric's intent was to remake the original with improvements: top magnetic-closure and an interior with a side-wall zipper pocket, two pockets, and a key clip holder.
Squishee is a man-made material incorporating recycled fibers. It looks and feels just like natural raffia but has superior durability and packability.
