[Commentary]
A war action series broadcast on ABC in the United States.
The second season of this BOX was broadcast on TV Asahi (then NET) as "Desert Demon Squad." The exploits of the Allied special forces, known as the Rat Patrol, led by Sgt. Troy, allowed viewers to enjoy action dramas comparable to movies in their living rooms. Combined with the performances of the voice actors, it gained popularity and is still a masterpiece TV series with many devoted fans.

[Story]
The Rat Patrol is pursued relentlessly by the German army after intercepting a radio message ordering them to escort an Allied supply division. They barely escape to an oasis village, but during the battle, a girl from the village falls into a well. Troy and Dietrich temporarily cease fire in response to the tearful plea of the girl's mother and try to save the girl's life...
This exceptional humanistic masterpiece of the series is placed at the opening of Season 2, depicting the Rat Patrol's further adventures in dangerous missions!
