Vintage alpaca wool dress in earth tones

Beautiful vintage alpaca wool midi dress bought from a vintage shop in New York for £90. With a wrap top esque bodice and three quarter length sleeves, I envisioned wearing in this autumn or winter to galleries and museums. The photos do not do justice to the shape and drape of this dress, especially the skirt which has such a beautiful bounce and the most stunning colours of knit as well as the knit styles themselves being stunning and working so well together. The colours are earthy and evoke a beautiful coastline with sand, sea, and stone. This dress is incredibly dynamic and understated, quietly sexy and classy. It can also be worn more casually/with rougher accessorising to bring a homely country feel to it. I loved styling it with a belt at the hip for an almost shift dress silhouette that evokes the (1920s) 20s era. Shown on XS so the fit is not perfect, would definitely work better on the intended size. It has a beautiful stretch to it and soft texture. There are some small holes shown in the pictures from age.
