This is made of a structured silk. there are rips on the back of both sleeves at the seams which could be easily fixed. Otherwise it is in very good condition, no holes, looks barely worn. It must be from the 1960's or 70's. Murray Arbeid was a famous British fashion designer who made gowns for Princess Diana and Shirley Bassey. pictured is of one of Diana's dresses sold at sotheby's with an estimate of £80,000 -£100,000.
