Original true 1950s Black Liquid Blouse. True Vintage 1950s Blouse – Hildegarde of California An original 1950s blouse by Hildegarde of California, a genuine vintage piece. This classic 1950s silhouette, with the traditional structured shape and its original diamond-patterned collar fully intact. The collar is a standout detail and remains complete. Condition: Satisfactory This is a wounded bird. There were a couple of bigger holes at the back, which were hidden by sewing the back of the collar onto the actual back of the blouse. The collar has diamond details (intact). There might be other defects e.g. tiny holes etc. I was not able to spot or not easy to see. The material feels like satin. The shape is a true batwing shape. I think despite the defects it can still be worn. Size: the underbust is approx 55 cm which is 21,65 inches x2. For reference, I am a size 10 in Vivien of Holloway blouses and this blouse comes up bigger on me. I struggle taking proper measures given the batwing shape. Please reach put, I can take more pictures of the measuring tape. Wrinkling is present fom long-term storage and has not been steamed. I have never worn this except to try on. Priced accordingly to reflect condition, age, and originality. A rare chance to own a true piece of 1950s fashion history, imperfections and all.
