Rare Vintage Yves Saint Lauren ‘Rice Gauche’ Designer Jacket in Brown Wool Felt, features elaborate cording around neck, sleeves, and down the fronts with a pankou(Chinese frog knot) closure. Super rare from one of the first YSL ‘ready to wear’ collections. The design house was the first couture label to offer ready to wear so this is a piece of history. Similar pieces sell for 2K or more. Vintage item inspired by the middle and far east. Very on trend. Excellent condition for its age with only two small flaws, own on the upper left shoulder which is shown in photos, and one small snag in the lining visible in photos.
