Stunning solid wooden carved frame with a gold inlay under the glass. Vintage embroidery artwork featuring an autumnal arrangement of leaves in a white pitcher or jug. This style of needlework was popular in kits during the 1960s and 1970s. light turquoise/ green background fabric that looks like a cotton/ canvas. There is a surface mark centre top on the background fabric - please see pictures, reflected in price. Overall shows signs of age and use which is typical for vintage items but it’s a wonderful piece of art be it for the frame or the artwork. Together this is a wonderful collectable item in a solid condition that would fit in various settings as a really exquisite display.
