Original Bitossi Sahara series vase, designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy. A classic mid-century piece with deep relief banding and the characteristic earthy glaze palette associated with the Sahara range. Cylindrical form with incised geometric decoration and a warm mustard / ochre central band, finished in layered brown and tan glazes. Fully glazed interior. Details: – Italy, c. 1960s – Designer: Aldo Londi – Manufacturer: Bitossi – Glazed ceramic – Height approx. 16 cm – Diameter approx. 7 cm Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks.
