Libertine Dune No 6 / Sofia Coppola, Suzuki Chika

The fashion and culture magazine "Libertin DUNE No.6 2013," founded by the legendary editor Fumihiro Hayashi, showcases a remarkable collection of works. Fumihiro Hayashi, who passed away at the young age of 46 after battling colon cancer, utilized his extensive network in fashion, art, and subculture to feature participation from a host of prominent artists and photographers in "Dune." From the inaugural issue in 1993, which featured Rie Miyazawa on the cover, to the 33rd issue published in 2008 with Rinko Kikuchi on the cover, and the revival as "Libertin DUNE" in 2011 with Sofia Coppola as the cover star—Hayashi tragically passed away that same year. Following his death, his wife, Kazumi Hayashi, who was originally a stylist and photographer and had served as the editorial director of i-D Japan, took on the role of editor-in-chief, and this issue is the sixth edition. It includes works by Sofia Coppola, Mark Gonzales, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Sandy Kim, Chika Suzuki, and Takashi Homma (Children of the Forest), among others.
