1827 Antique Print / New Government Mews, Princes Street, London Story's Gate Westminster -- Tho.s H Shepherd Drawing, J. Henshall Engraver. Publisher - Jones and Company, 1827

1829 The is a print of the Millbank Penitentiary in Westminster, London. Tho.s H Shepherd Drawing, J. Tingle Engraver. James Tingle and Philip Charles Hardwick Published, 1829

Millbank Penitentiary (Prison) was a major London prison that operated from 1816 to 1890. It served as a holding facility for convicted prisoners before they were transported to the Australian penal colonies. The prison was eventually demolished, and the site is now primarily occupied by the Tate Britain art gallery. Interesting part of how Australia came to be!

These prints are topographical and show a views of metropolitan improvements around London. They are considered historically significant for documenting London's architecture during the 19th century.
