Four years since he left this world. Yet, perhaps his soul still wanders the earthly realm.

In September 2018, Mac Miller suddenly passed away. Now, the "phantom" album he was working on from 2013 to 2014 is finally being officially released! The album, "BALLOONERISM," which Mac Miller himself called an important work, will be released on January 17th, just before his birthday!! A double LP vinyl will also be released simultaneously.

Mac Miller suddenly passed away in September 2018. His untimely death, just after releasing the studio album "SWIMMING" the previous month, sent shockwaves through not only the RAP/HIPHOP scene but the entire music scene. However, the music he left behind continues to have a significant impact on the HIPHOP scene even now.

The album "BALLOONERISM," which Mac Miller created during his lifetime but had never seen the light of day, will be released on January 17, 2025, just before what would have been his 37th birthday. "BALLOONERISM" was a full album created around 2014, around the same time he was working on the mixtape "FACES." The previous year, in 2013, he released the album "WATCHING MOVIES WITH THE SOUND OFF," which debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard album chart and spawned three US hit singles. At the time, he seemed to be on a fast track to stardom, but he was also dealing with personal issues such as constant touring, the death of a friend, and the breakdown of a relationship. While experiencing such a low point mentally, he broke free from past bad habits and, to create a new album, re-teamed with his old Pittsburgh production crew, I.D. Labs, and completed the album "GO:OD AM," his first with Warner Records.
