This is a masterpiece recorded in 1978 by Quarteto Em Cy, a Brazilian quartet that captivates listeners with their beautiful harmonies. Unlike their works from the 1960s, this album has a mellow style with a focus on vocals. It's pop and melancholic throughout, but the wonderful flow of "B4. Plataforma" and "B5. Canudos" provides a "miraculous" sense of uplift. The latter, in particular, is an outstanding and moving song, with a fantastic scat at the end that gradually builds up. "B2. Santo amaro" is also lovely, with its charming harmonies and excellent flute tones.
