I am selling a nearly unworn vintage men's designer coat. It's from around 1990.
The brand is Mitsukoshi's original "Urban Classic."
This brand was developed by the prestigious Mitsukoshi department store to compete with the then-popular Polo by Ralph Lauren, which was introduced by Seibu Department Store. It's a traditional menswear brand that inherited the lineage of Urban Club.
While Mitsukoshi simultaneously launched the designer brand Oscar de la Renta, this brand was a purely Japanese traditional brand. It is now discontinued. Those who remember it are likely of a certain age.
