Ibara Denim
Starting from planning and design, and including pattern making, cutting, sewing, and processing, all processes are created with companies in Ibara City, making these original Ibara jeans full of dedication.
We have adopted stretch denim from Kuroki Co., Ltd. (Ibara City), which handles denim for world-renowned maison brands, to create jeans that are easy to wear and move in.
In addition, we have applied a one-wash process to prevent the fabric from shrinking. As you wear them, you can enjoy your own unique wear and fading.
Ibara Original Jeans' Commitment POINTS
○ Selvedge on the coin pocket
The coin pocket is designed with "selvedge (ears)" that are created on both ends of the fabric woven on old-fashioned shuttle looms.
○ Chain stitch on the hem
The hem is raised with a chain stitch that easily creates wear and adds character the more you wear it. The under thread that is visible when folded is red for men and pink for women.
○ Original leather patch
An original design leather patch with a hand-pressed burn. The color of the leather differs between men's and women's.
○ Star buttons and rivets
Bisei Town, Ibara City, is a town with a beautiful starry sky that the world can be proud of. In honor of Bisei Town, we have adopted star-shaped buttons and rivets.
○ Stitch thread color
Men's are yellow, and women's are white, and the thread color is changed for sewing. Even with the same silhouette, the image changes depending on the color of the thread.
Ibara City is a denim production area where denim fabric dyeing and weaving factories, as well as jeans sewing and processing factories, are gathered.
