This is a homespun neckwear item from Michinoku Akane-kai. It's a primitive and lovely muffler, hand-woven from 100% hand-spun wool yarn. The simple herringbone pattern features a beige warp with a pale gray weft.
As it is made of 100% wool yarn, some people may find it itchy, although this varies from person to person. Also, as a characteristic of hand-spun yarn, there are variations in thickness and neps, so the texture is not smooth.
I purchased it and used it twice, then had it dry cleaned and stored at home. It's in excellent condition with no signs of wear. Please check the images for the condition.
The color of the photos changes slightly depending on the light, making it difficult to capture the true color, but I think the fourth image is the closest.
