Offered for sale is a beautiful and authentic Goebel Hummel figurine titled Chick Girl, model #57/0. This adorable piece depicts a young girl sitting beside a basket of yellow chicks, with one curious chick at her feet.
This particular figurine is a first edition, produced in Germany between 1935 and 1949, as identified by the blue WG Crown mark on the baseknown to collectors as TMK-2 on of the earliest and most collectible trademark era. The 57/0 mold number is clearly impressed on the base, verifying the piece as the smallest original production size.
