This is a Pendleton ombre check wool gown from around the early 1950s.
The brand's woven label doesn't have a size indication within the frame, nor does it have a wool mark. Based on details like the rough texture of the label and the shell buttons on the sleeves, I've determined it's a model with a woven label used from the 1940s to the early 1950s.

The waist belt, which is often lost, is also included, but for some reason, the fabric has a slightly different check pattern from the time of acquisition.
