This is the Minolta AL-F, the final model in the Minolta series. It features the renowned Rokkor lens. With a width of 123mm, the same as the Minolta S, it's not too compact and is easy to hold. The top housing is 2mm taller, making the viewfinder larger and easier to see. The exposure mode is shutter-priority EE, but you can check the aperture value in the viewfinder, allowing for advanced photography with aperture priority. Unlike other Minolta series cameras, the winding lever is located in the usual position on top, giving it a more classic camera design. The metallic texture and plating are also excellent, providing the joy of ownership. The thin, linear design of the body is particularly beautiful, and I've loved collecting this Minolta series, but I'm selling it to organize my dry box.

【Appearance】The body is very clean. There are no noticeable scratches or dents on the top and bottom covers, and the plating shines. Many units have scratches on the winding lever, but this one only has minor scratches on the tip, and is almost pristine. The leatherette is intact with no damage, and there's no battery leakage in the battery chamber.

【Optics】The lens appears clear and clean when viewed from the front and back (photos 7 and 8). There may be some dust if you look closely, but it has no effect on the image quality. The viewfinder has also been cleaned and is clear (photo 9). The bright frame and the yellow double image are bright and have good contrast. The rangefinder is also accurate, and infinity focus is achieved.

【Functionality】The camera uses an MR-9 adapter, allowing for LR44 batteries. The shutter stroke is a bit deep (as per specifications), but it has a nice "ka-cha" sound and feel. Although the exact accuracy is unknown, the aperture and shutter speed change depending on the brightness of the subject, and the meter reading is almost identical to my handheld light meter.

I've uploaded a few photos from a test roll at the end, so please take a look. The resolution is high, and the colors are good. The light seals have been replaced, and there's no light leakage. This camera has a hot shoe and a sync terminal, and both have been tested with a flash.

【Accessories】Includes a third-party front plastic lens cap (new) for lens protection.

For Rokkor fans and Minolta fans, how about adding a compact, metal rangefinder camera with excellent image quality to your collection?

※This camera was released in 1967. I have confirmed that it works, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about details.
