MINOLTA Rokkor QF 40mm F1.7 Black Modified Lens E-Mount

This is a manual lens that was equipped with a Minolta camera released in 1971.
It has been modified for Sony E mount.

This is the lens I used most frequently in my old lens history.
The aperture is adjusted with a ring that has an ASA index.

It has a very wild bokeh at wide open aperture. It shows its true potential when you stop down just a little.

I have taken countless photos with it, but I haven't used it much lately, and it's sitting sadly in a corner of my humidity-controlled cabinet.

I'm offering it to someone who can make good use of it.

I just attached it to my α74 and took a few pictures for this listing.

■The mechanism is fine.
■Optically, there is a fair amount of dust accumulation from over 50 years, visible from both the top and bottom.
■The closest focusing distance is 80cm.
■There is significant vignetting at wide open aperture. I considered this a "flavor" though. (Example 1.2)
■It becomes very sharp when stopped down. (Example 3)

■I cannot send the camera - lol
■I will only send what is in the 8th picture.

I will pack it carefully and ship it promptly from Chiba.
