"Full Moon in Paris"
Louise, an interior designer living in the suburbs of Paris, is living with Rémi, an architect. One night at a party, Louise invites Octave, leaving Rémi, who dislikes going out. However, Rémi appears at the venue and is talking to Louise's friend Camille. She introduces Marianne to Rémi, who says he likes tennis. Meanwhile, Louise decides to rent an apartment in Paris where she can stay alone, which is convenient for various things...

"Summer" (also known as "The Green Ray")
Delphine, a single woman, works as a secretary in an office. Her friend cancels their vacation plans. Delphine goes to Cherbourg, invited by her friend Françoise, but cannot shake off her loneliness. Back in Paris, she accidentally meets her acquaintance Irène and decides to rent a villa in Biarritz. Delphine was listening to an old professor talking about the "green ray" on a seaside promenade...

"Boyfriends and Girlfriends"
Blanche is a 24-year-old woman working at the city hall. One day, she meets Léa, a 22-year-old university student, and they go to the pool. There, Blanche meets Alexandre, a friend of Léa's who came to swim with Adrienne, and is attracted to him. Later, Léa's live-in partner Fabien joins them, and the emotions of the five people intertwine...
