The husband and wife team of Evelyn and Jerome Ackerman created textiles, ceramics, mosaics and wood carvings during the mid-century era and were at the forefront of what became known as California Modern Style. In the 1960s and 70s they created a series of wood carvings for Panelcarve and ERA Industries.
