[Sample Disc] Bye Bye! Kyoiku Mama / Akita Nikata Bushi - Kuniko Umewaka 7-inch

A cult 7-inch record by Kuniko Umewaka, a powerful woman who is the president of a precision machinery parts factory, a truck driver, and a folk song master. She sings about the educational situation at the time in a rap style, backed by a country doo-wop-style performance. Released 5 years before "Oira Tokyo sa Ikunda" by Yoshi Ikuzo, this may be the original rap kayo.

And, amazingly, a copy of a newspaper article that covered the release at the time is included. It's a valuable document that's quite a read.

It's a 45-year-old work, so it's vintage, but the overall condition is good. The record surface is also in good condition with no noticeable scratches.
