The 1996 NBA Japan Games featured two regular season games at the Tokyo Dome between the Orlando Magic and the New Jersey Nets. Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, who was called "Jordan's successor" at the time, came to Japan as the central player of the Magic and thrilled the audience with his skills.
