This patch was created by the Royal Air Force at RAF Coningsby during the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's (JASDF) first goodwill visit to North America and Europe, "Atlantic Eagles," which took place in September of this year. It was made for exchange with JASDF personnel. The patch features the JASDF's F-15J Eagle from the 201st Tactical Fighter Squadron, the Eurofighter Typhoon of the 29th Squadron (the host unit), historical buildings of Coningsby, and a rising sun flag in the background.
I received this from a collector friend in the area, who said I could sell it to help cover the costs of my trip to the UK.
It's a relatively large military patch, approximately 12 x 8 cm, and the design is quite detailed.
