Antique German porcelain figural group depicting a romantic courting couple, attributed to Rudolstadt Volkstedt, Thuringia, circa 1895–1910.
Beautifully hand-painted with fine facial detail, vibrant enamels, gilt accents, and floral base decoration. The scene features a seated female musician with dulcimer and a male companion in period dress. Marked on the underside with a hand-painted red crowned "R", consistent with Rudolstadt-Volkstedt production.
Condition:
One finger on the female figure is broken/missing (see close-up photos). No repairs observed. No cracks or structural damage noted. Displays very well despite the flaw and is priced accordingly.
A genuine antique example of late 19th / early 20th century German figural porcelain.
